Pakistan cricket squad for Blind World Games announced

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) on Friday, announced a 17-member squad for the upcoming IBSF Blind World Games, scheduled to take place from 17th to 27th August in Birmingham this year.

The 17-member Pakistan contingent will be led by Nisar Ali (B2) while Badar Munir (B2) will serve as his deputy.

Staged after every four years, the IBSA World Games, in a first, will host 11 sports competitions after World Blind Cricket Ltd and IBSA agreed to add Cricket for the Visually impaired men and women in this year’s mega event.

PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah, also World Blind Cricket Ltd Chairman, approved the national squad and also deputed three team officials.
