Second phase of the PCB Conditioning Camp kicks off at NHPC today

LAHORE: The second phase of the players’ conditioning camp under the supervision of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), kicked off at the National High-Performance Center (NHPC) today.

The second phase of the camp also commenced with an introductory session as the head coach Saqlain Mushtaq, and the bowling coach of the NHPC Umar Rasheed explained the purpose of the camp to the players.

The batting coach Muhammad Yousuf and the former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq also attended the introductory session.

All the 33 players were present on the opening day of the camp and also participated in the net and fielding sessions post-introduction sessions.

The second phase of the PCB Conditioning Camp, which was postponed following the political crisis in the country, has been rescheduled to kick off on May 29 at the National High-Performance Center (NHPC).

According to the details, the announced 33 players have been directed to report at the NHPC on May 28.

The second phase of the camp was previously scheduled to begin on May 26 but following the political tensions in the country, the PCB opted to postpone it.
