BHUBANESWAR: Pakistan beat Egypt by 3-1 in their second match of the ongoing FIH Junior Hockey World Cup here on Saturday.Â
In a must-win contest, Pakistan played exceptionally well with their drag flicker Rizwan Ali registering a hat-trick. Rizwan made the most of three penalty corners in the 19th, 32nd, and 53rd minute of the game, respectively.
For Egypt, the only field goal was scored by Awad Hussein. With this victory, Pakistan remains with a chance to qualify for the next round.
The Green Shirts are scheduled to play their last group stage match on November 28 against Argentina.
