KARACHI: The 2019 champions of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Quetta Gladiators ensured to pick right-arm speedster, Naseem Shah, in the upcoming Player Draft of the forthcoming eighth edition.
All six PSL franchises on Friday revealed their retentions for the next edition and a few trades were also made between the franchises.
Meanwhile, the Gladiators’ retention list left their fans curious about young pacer Naseem, who apparently had been released by the franchise.

The Gladiators’ retention list consequently led fans to raise queries regarding Naseem on social media platforms.
Following ample buzz regarding the pacer, the Gladiators took to Twitter and ensured the franchise would not let go of Naseem and hinted to pick him via the Right To Match card.
“Sorry to disappoint but we only want to see [Naseem Shah] in purple and gold of Quetta Gladiators,” the franchise wrote.
“Picture abhi baaqi hai dost Just wait for the [HBL PSL Draft] to take place,” the caption added.
