LAHORE: Sikandar Raza’s all-round brilliance powered Lahore Qalandars to a dominant 88-run victory over table-toppers Islamabad United in the 19th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 here at Gaddafi Stadium on Wednesday.

Lahore Qalandars chased down the 186-run total on the loss of five wickets in the 19th over, thanks to impressive knocks from Sikandar Raza and Daryl Mitchell.

The home team’s chase started on a shaky note as the emerging batter, Mohammad Naeem (6), failed to impress once again and was dismissed in the second over.

Multan Sultans sensed a comeback after Fakhar’s wicket; however, Abdullah Shafique and Daryl Mitchell forged a vital 49-run stand to lift them out of trouble. Both batters played briskly, scoring a flurry of boundaries in each over. Daryl was dismissed on the second last ball of the 18th over, after scoring an enterprising 64 off 38 balls, with the help of four sixes and four elegant fours.
