DOHA: Bangladesh A have won the toss and decided to bowl first against Pakistan Shaheens in the final of the Asia Cup Rising Stars here at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Pakistan Shaheens are so far unbeaten in the tournament. They started their campaign with a 40-run victory over Oman, followed by an easy win.

They also defeated arch-rivals India A by eight wickets and then ended the group stage with another big win against UAE.

Pakistan Shaheens reached the pinnacle clash after defeating Sri Lanka A in the semi-final.

On the contrary, Bangladesh A also remained impressive throughout the tournament, losing only one encounter against Sri Lanka A.

However, they kept their cool head in the semi-final against India A and clinched victory in the super over.
