India all-rounder Hardik Pandya on Thursday confirmed his divorce with Natasa Stankovic after months of speculations surrounding their marriage.

Taking to Instagram, both Pandya and Stankovic shared a joint statement announcing that the couple decided to part ways mutually.

“After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us,” the two said in a statement.

It is pertinent to mention that Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic tied the knot in 2020 and they welcomed their son Agastya in the same year.

The announcement came hours after the Serbian dancer left Mumbai with their son Agastya.

Meanwhile, the two said that they will continue to co-parent their three-year-old son.

“We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness,” the couple said.

“This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family,” the statement read.

Pandya shared a number of pictures with his son, posed with the T20 World Cup 2024 gold medal while the model was missing.

Following India’s triumph in the T20 World Cup 2 024 final, the star all-rounder took to Instagram to share a series of photos with his son Agastya Pandya.

However, social media users began questioning the absence of Pandya’s wife Natasa Stankovic from the celebration photos.

The adorable snaps showed the father-son duo dressed in casual dress sharing some warm moments from cheering together to adoring Hardik Pandya’s medal around his son’s neck.

The Indian cricketer wrote in the caption, “My #1! Everything I do, I do for you.”

While several showered love on the two, others wondered why Natasa was not with her husband during his happiest times.

One user commented, “Where is the mom?” while another took her absence as evidence that the rumours about their divorce were true as he wrote, “So the rumors seem to be true!”

A user wished, “I just hope and pray everything is fine between you and Natasa.”

Notably, Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic announced their engagement in January 2020, before tying the knot in May at a low-key court wedding, due to the Covid-19 lockdown. They welcomed their first child, Agastya, in July of the same year.
