LAHORE: ICC Elite Panelists Aleem Dar and Richard Illingworth will be officiating on the ground during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7 final.
Dar and Illingworth will be accompanied by Michael Gough (3rd Umpire) and Ahsan Raza (4rth Umpire) on the final day. Sri Lanka’s Roshan Mahanama will lead the playing control room.
Defending champions Multan Sultans will take on Lahore Qalandars in the final contest on Sunday.
LAHORE: Aleem Dar and Ahsan Raza have been appointed as on-field umpires in all three Tests of historic Pakistan vs Australia series in March.
ICC Elite panelist Aleem and PCB International panelist Ahsan will be accompanied by Asif Yaqoob (1st, 3rd Test) and Rashid Riaz (2nd Test) as Tv umpires. ICC Chief Match Referee Ranjan Madugalle will lead the Playing Control Team during the Test series.
Ahsan, Aleem, Asif and Rashid will share on-field umpires’ responsibilities, while Muhammad Javed Malik will be the match referee for the three ODIs, which will be played on 29 March, 31 March and 2 April in Rawalpindi.
Aleem and Ahsan will reunite for the one-off T20I and Javed will be the match referee. The only T20I will be played on April 5 at Pindi Cricket Stadium.
LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has named Aleem Dar, Richard Illingworth, Michael Gough among the match officials for Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 7’s playoffs.
Multan Sultans will meet Lahore Qalandars in PSL 7 Qualifier on March 23. Roshan Mahanama will be the referee of this contest. Aleem Dar and Richard Illingworth will be the on-field umpires, while Michael Gough and Ahsan Raza will be the third and fourth umpires, respectively.
ICC Chief Match Referee Ranjan Madugalle will lead the playing control team for the 24 February Eliminator 1 between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United. Aleem Dar and Michael Gough will be the on-field umpires, while Richard Illingworth and Rashid Riaz will be the third and fourth umpires, respectively.
25 February Eliminator 2 featuring the loser of 23 February match and the winner of 24 February fixture will be refereed by Roshan Mahanama. Richard Illingworth and Michael Gough will perform on-field umpire responsibilities, while Aleem Dar and Asif Yaqoob will be the third and fourth umpires, respectively.
Umpire and match referee appointments for the 27 February final will be announced after the playoffs.
DUBAI: International Cricket Council (ICC) has named match officials for the upcoming T20 World Cup, starting from October 17 in UAE and Oman.
In a press release, ICC revealed 16 experienced umpires and four-match referees for the multi-nation event.
From Pakistan, Aleem Dar and Ahsan Raza are included in the umpire’s panel. Others are Chris Brown, Kumar Dharmasena, Marais Erasmus, Chris Gaffaney, Michael Gough, Adrian Holdstock, Richard Illingworth, Richard Kettleborough, Nitin Menon, Paul Reiffel, Langton Rusere, Rod Tucker, Joel Wilson, Paul Wilson.
Match Referees: David Boon, Jeff Crowe, Ranjan Madugalle, Javagal Srinath.
It must be noted here that T20 World Cup is scheduled from October 17 to November 14 in Oman and UAE. The tournament will start with qualifiers followed by the main event from October 23.
Karachi: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced match officials for the remaining 20 matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six which will be played at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi from Wednesday, 9 June to Thursday, 24 June.
Pakistan’s senior-most umpire Aleem Dar who is also one of the most distinguished members of the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires will join six members of the PCB Elite Panel of Umpires for the Abu Dhabi leg.
The six local umpires are Ahsan Raza, Asif Yaqoob (PCB Umpire of 2020), Faisal Khan Afridi, Rashid Riaz, Shozab Raza and Zameer Haider.
PCB match referee elite panelists Ali Naqvi, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Javed Malik and Muhammad Anees will lead the playing control teams in Abu Dhabi.
The first match of the Abu Dhabi-leg between Lahore Qalandars and the 2016 and 2018 champions Islamabad United will be umpired by Aleem Dar and Rashid Riaz, while Shozab Raza will be the third umpire and Faisal Afridi, the fourth umpire. Muhammad Anees will be the match referee.
The June 24 final will be umpired by Aleem and Ahsan with Asif the third umpire. Rashid will be the fourth umpire while Anees will be the match referee.
